Dr. Peebles completed his undergraduate education at Howard University in Washington, DC, majoring in chemistry and with a minor degree in mathematics. He was a recipient of a science scholarship, inducted into Beta Kappa Chi national honor society, and graduated with honors. Dr. Peebles then matriculated to UMDNJ – Rutgers Medical School (now Robert Wood Johnson Medical School) in Piscataway, NJ, and graduated with the degree ‘Doctor of Medicine’. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed an internship and full residency in General Surgery at York Hospital, York, PA, completing his final year as a Chief Resident. He then pursued and completed a second residency, this time in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Wishing to pursue additional training, Dr. Peebles applied for and was awarded a fellowship to train in aesthetic and breast surgery at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Peebles is a diplomate of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Tennessee Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Peebles is an attending surgeon at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and Centennial Medical Center.
